"This is what I love about art...different people will look at the same thing and make different conclusions, and I think those all matter."

Behind the Artwork

with artist Tamila Amanzholova

In this video, you'll hear from our graphic designer and artist Tamila Amanzholova, who has created the concert artwork you'll see in our programs throughout the season. You'll hear more from Tamila about her process for creating art, and how each concert program theme created unique challenges and opportunities.

We are Grateful for You

During this season of thanksgiving, we are grateful for you! Thank you for your continued support of the National Lutheran Choir, and your interest in our behind-the-scenes videos and special offerings.

As a special thanks, we wanted to share this early release of the third movement of A Sacred Place by Alex Berko that was featured on our All Saints program a few weeks ago. Enjoy this moment of musical reverie during the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.

A Lifetime of Singing

Your support matters

Our Lifetime of Singing Campaign recognizes the value of singing sacred music together throughout our lives. We are creating new programs to welcome people of all ages to sing with the members of the NLC, including 2nd–6th graders in our Christmas Festival Children’s Ensemble; adults and youth who attend our Tune-Up to learn music to sing at their places of worship; and high school students who will join our concert with Cantus in May.

A Lifetime of Singing is a year-end giving campaign to help support the National Lutheran Choir. We are so grateful for your support as a virtual subscriber, and we invite you to make a contribution today, or anytime before December 31!
