Each season – through All Saints concerts, the Christmas Festival, a Winter Concert, Spring concert, and virtual programs - the National Lutheran Choir works to connect us all through sacred choral music. The NLC offers Virtual Subscriptions either as an add-on to a Season Pass or as a standalone purchase to deliver special content directly to the subscriber’s email inbox through the entire season. This season’s exclusive behind-the-scenes virtual subscription package gives you new insights into this exciting year.

For a one-time purchase of $40, you can be a 2023-2024 Virtual Subscriber. As a subscriber, you’ll receive deep dive interviews and conversations about the music you love; behind-the-scenes videos of rehearsals, retreats and tours; a chance to connect online with the NLC’s new Artistic Director, Dr. Jennaya Robison; musical excerpts; playlists; and more!

Each year, the National Lutheran Choir begins the season with a retreat. It is here that the ensemble meets for its first rehearsals and starts preparations for the upcoming season. This year, energy was high as the singers reunited as a full group for the first time since May and as they got to work with new Artistic Director, Jennaya Robison, on this season's repertoire for the very first time.

• Expanding the Sacred Series - What is “sacred” music? How can we expand our understanding of what is sacred, and how do different kinds of music speak to our faith and hope in God? Join Artistic Director Jennaya Robison in exploring these questions to bring a deeper appreciation for the music - both sacred and secular - featured in the NLC’s programs this season. 

• Collaborator Conversations Series - Hear from key collaborators who are helping bring this season’s music to life for special insights into some of your favorite pieces on this year's programs and to pull back the curtain on their process for creating. 

• Singing Through Life Series - Through a series of conversations, Jennaya Robison will explore what it means to sing in healthy ways across our lifetimes - throughout youth, adulthood, and into old age. As a professional singer who is passionate about promoting vocal health and technique for singers of all ages, Jennaya will share her expertise and tips to support singing at every stage of life.

• Livestream Chats with Jennaya - Get to know Jennaya and hear more about what she has in store for the NLC this season through a series of Q&A livestream conversations. With one Livestream Chat before each concert series, you’ll get a chance to ask questions and connect with Jennaya online throughout the season.
