Dale Warland, celebrated American musician, has made an indelible impression on the landscape of contemporary choral music both nationally and internationally. During his time with the Dale Warland Singers, he shaped a vocal ensemble known for its exquisite sound, technical finesse, and stylistic range.
With the National Lutheran Choir serving as a demonstration ensemble, Warland will lead a participatory workshop for church choral musicians wishing to be of greater service to their congregations through more expressive singing.
The workshop is open to liturgical choirs of any denomination. For registration information, call 612-722-2301. Space is limited.
The National Lutheran Choir will serve as the clinic ensemble, demonstrating a wide range of choral techniques and expression for the selected repertoire.

The cost for the Tune-Up is $50.00 for choirs bringing 25 or fewer members and $75.00 for choirs bringing more than 25 members. Single-person registration is available for $15. Payment may be made in advance by check or credit card.
If any of the four choral pieces listed above are not in your music library, they may be ordered through the National Lutheran Choir at cost plus $5 postage. Please mention this upon registering.
The deadline for ordering music through the National Lutheran Choir is January 1, 2006. After then, availability cannot be guaranteed. We’ll mail the sheet music to choir directors no later than January 16 for distribution to choir members. If you would rather order the pieces yourself, refer to the catalog numbers shown.
While it is not expected that choirs will have extensively rehearsed the selected repertoire prior to the Tune-Up, all sheet music must be marked with measure numbers prior to arrival to facilitate efficient rehearsal.
Following the Tune Up, choir directors are invited to join Dale Warland for lunch and continued open discussion. The cost for the luncheon is $20.00, payable to the National Lutheran Choir. Reservations required. Call the National Lutheran Choir at 612-722-2301 to confirm your partipation in the Director’s Luncheon.
