This concert is part of the first series in our 20th Anniversary season! The a cappella program includes music by William Byrd, Steven Stucky (winner of the 2005 Pulitzer Prize in Composition), F. Melius Christiansen, Morten Lauridsen, David Cherwien, Samuel Barber, Larry Fleming, and Aaron McDermid.

This concert is being hosted by the Chester Creek Cafe, 1902 East 8th Street, Duluth, Minnesota, 218-724-6811. $17 general admission tickets are available from the Chester Creek Cafe in person, by phone (218-724-6811), or email (carlabrg@taransmarketplace.com). Tickets are also available at the door.

Ride with the NLC from the Twin Cities

Ride the tour bus from the Twin Cities to Duluth with members of the choir! $25 includes concert ticket and transportation to Duluth. Reservations required. Call 612-722-2301 for more information. This is a great opportunity to meet the choir and visit spectacular Weber Hall!

Completed in 2002 and opened in the Fall of 2003, Weber Music Hall, designed by renowned architect Cesar Pelli, is considered “The Gem” of the UMD campus. The 21,600-square-foot facility seats 350 and provides performance space for up to 70 orchestra players and 75 chorus members. Its 75-foot-high performance space, designed for acoustical excellence, permits 360-degree audience seating.
