Make a Gift From Your Estate

A gift to the National Lutheran Choir from your estate can have a tremendous impact on our mission! Writing such a gift into your will or estate plan ensures that your giving priorities are clear to those responsibile for distributing your assets.

If you intend to include the National Lutheran Choir in your will or estate plan, please use the following sample bequest language as a starting point for your planning.

Unrestricted Gift
“I hereby bequeath to National Lutheran Choir, a non-profit corporation in the State of Minnesota and with a tax identification number 36-3490571, _____ (insert percentage of estate or specific dollar amount) to be used for the general purposes as determined by the Board of Directors.”

Restricted Gift
“I hereby bequeath to National Lutheran Choir, a non-profit corporation in the State of Minnesota and with a tax identification number 36-3490571, _____ (insert percentage of estate or specific dollar amount) to be used in support of _____ (insert specific program, Capital Fund or Endowment Fund).”

If you would like to discuss possibilities for a restricted gift from your estate, please contact Tina Meckel, Executive Director, at 612-722-2301.

As we are in the business of making great music, not giving legal advice, please consult with your attorney if you have questions about how a gift to National Lutheran Choir will affect your estate plan.

If you have already made arrangements to make an estate gift to the National Lutheran Choir, please let us know! We want to thank you!
