National Lutheran Choir – Minneapolis/St. Paul | celebrating the art and culture of sacred choral music

In a world full of fear, hurt and pain, it is not hard to answer the question "Why do we need Jesus and celebrate his birth? Our Christmas Festival sings the story of Love Incarnate - giving birth to love (an often used metaphor for Christ) in our time. In the beautiful setting of Christ Church Cathedral, the National Lutheran Choir's Christmas Festival experience is something you do not want to miss.

Distinguished by the choir's movement around the space, poetry and audience-participation carols, the concert includes a variety of choral music sung by the choir ranging from very familiar Christmas favorites to new music sure to become traditions of the future. This year's program includes music by Praetorius, Gabrieli, Manz, Paulus, Christiansen, and Will Todd's stunning "Angel Song II" in surround sound.
